SAA is proud to employ our own gas plumbers to conduct gas safety services in Victoria. The benefit to having company employed gas plumbers is that SAA has more control over the quality of gas safety services, ensuring processes, procedures and work is done in line with SAA's commitment of quality for our customers.
Our gas plumbers are fully licensed Type A meaning, they are qualified to Victorian standards for those that can complete works required. SAA also has direct booking times with the tenant to conduct the safety check, and provide a detailed report when the work is done, outlining, passes, fails and recommendations.
Reporting is provided as soon as practicable and any issues identified at the property are escalated accordingly.
Gas service inclusions:
SAA's gas services are carried out on all gas installations, appliances and fittings provided in rental properties once every two years. These services include:
· carbon monoxide emissions
· gas leaks and safe operation
· correct installation and compliance
· negative pressure test
· tests completed to AS4575
Minor rectifications also carried out on site to reduce the need for rectification quotes and re- attendance. Smoke Alarms Australia offers our gas safety services as an additional service for $282 including GST. All fees are tax deductible.
